Sex during Pregnancy


Are you afraid to have sex life during your pregnancy? Or do you think it’s not good to your situation? What’s your idea about this sex during pregnancy? Actually, there is no reason to change or alter your sexual activity unless your doctor or mid wife tells any matters with your health. No need to worry about your baby, your baby is well protected in your uterus by the amniotic fluid that surrounds hime/her. So, intercourse/orgasm will not be able to do any harm to your baby. But, when you will get to know that you are  pregnant, then you should take advise form your doctor or mid wife about this sex during pregnancy, because if you have a history of miscarriages or if you have certain complications like premature labor or bleeding, then those health providers may recommend not having intercourse early in pregnancy.

Yes, you should communicate with him. Open with your feelings is the key to maintain intimacy with your husband during pregnancy. And it gives you both better understand your feelings and desires also.
During the pregnancy, will my sexual desires change?
Actually, it’s the normal feelings that if your desires to be different, because now you are a pregnant lady. Some women experience an increased sex drive during the pregnancy because of changing hormones. On the other hand, some pregnant women may not be as interested in sex, as they were before they became pregnant. But normally, most of women lose interest in sex during the first trimester, because they are tired and uncomfortable. But some are staying the same as before.
During the pregnancy, how can I have sex comfortably?
You should change your sex positions for your comfort, as you are in pregnant period. And during intercourse, you may also feel a need to use a water-based lubricant. Generally, you should not fell pain during the intercourse, but if you feel any painful contractions or if you have any bleeding or if your water breaks, you should consult your doctor immediately.
However, if your doctor advises you to limit your sexual activity or if you are not in the mood for intercourse, take time for intimacy with your husband. You can express your love in many other ways. Anyway, keep in mind, that both of your love creates your developing baby. And don’t keeps doubts about the sex during pregnancy.
